The commemorative twenty cent coin features a pair of traditional Chinese butterfly kites with intertwined tails on the front of the coin and the Bauhinia flower, the symbol of Hong Kong on the back. The scallop shaped coin is nickel brass, swivel backing is copper and the entire cufflink is plated in 18k gold to match the colour of a newly minted coin.

Diameter of coin is 19mm with a distinctive raised scalloped edging.
