With the addition of a sterling silver hoop through the coin, the five cent can be used as either a charm or a pendant. The front of the coin shows the effigy of Elizabeth II, the back of the coin has the inscription 'Hong Kong Five Cents' in both Chinese and English, and the year of mint. It is plated in 18k gold, to match the colour of a newly minted coin. The diameter of coin is 16.5mm. (Please note that the sterling silver bracelet shown on photo is for reference only.
