This smaller ten cent or 'yat ho' as it was generally known was minted from 1982 onwards, it has the effigy of Elizabeth II on the front of the coin and the inscription 'Hong Kong Ten Cents' in Chinese and English at the back of the coin. The cufflinks are faced with the back of the coin and measures 17.55mm in diameter.
