This larger ten cent or 'yat ho' as it was generally known was only minted between the 1950s and 1970s. The face of the cufflink is the back of the coin with 'Hong Kong Ten Cents' inscribed in Chinese and English and the year of mint. The edge of the coin has a distinctive vertical (reeded) milling. It is soldered to a standard swivel backing and then plated in 18k gold, to match the colour of a newly minted coin. At 20.5mm, it is makes for a big, solid and distinctive cufflink.
